Maybe you should of bought webcams that were vista compatible.

The box said it was Vista compatible. It's a Phillips webcam and all the downloadable drivers from their website for that particular webcam are Vista compatible. There are all kinds of comments posted on the internet complaining about the same particular problem with owners of Vista and installation of all makes and models of webcams with that OS. Whatcha got to say now, Mr. Smarty Pants?

i havent had any real problems with vista that i wasnt expecting. i guess maybe some of you arent doing things right.

and like somebody said, buying products that are compatible.
