I know that for a lot of you, you will be without the game this week. Here is a map of the broadcasting for the Dallas Game..............​

The "Dallas Cowboys Network" (DCN) channel #8521, will be broadcasting the game every week.

There are also basic instructions on how to download the Sopcast player, and what you need to consider.

Here is a tip..... I often watch three games at a time. I open two windows with two seperate game links on my PC, and I watch the telvevision broadcast while I'm doing that. I also bounce around checking out my live Fantasy stats.

Are you SURE it will be on sopcast? I remember some preseason game it was supposed to be on Sopcast but the channel never started streaming. I think it was the Minny game.

How stupid that they aren't showing the Cowboy game in New York City, like the entire area around me is showing it, but for some stupid reason we're getting 49ers vs Seattle.

Hey JJ:

If you could be more specific about what you did, I could tell you if you did it right. If you want to send me a PM with more details, I'll help you work throught it.

Right now, NFLN is broadcasting, so thats what you should see in your Sopcast player when you click on the link.

NFLN usually broadcasts for a few days before game day. A few days after game day, I broadcast the weekly game in a loop (repeats continuously).

Thats enough to get a solid consistant stream. Getting a 100% optimized stream is near impossible. Has to do with the broadcaster and the views bandwidth continuity.

Fluxuating in the 90% range is good. Usually happens at game time because there are more people viewing the feed. Remember, this is P2P technology, so the more viewers (seeders), the better the stream strength.

Thanks man... I'll have to do some google'ing about the P2P and the 'seeders' stuff so I can get a better idea of how more viewers increase the SS. But thanks for giving me a baseline..

Hey poke.

If your watching NFLN right now, then you will see the game at kick-off. Sounds like you are good to go.

BTW. I used to live in Arlington. Thats where I became a Cowboys fan more than 30 years ago. So sweet they are building the new stadium in my old hometown. Wish I was still there.

Cool. I have a flat screen LCD TV, and my PC is always connected. I often surf on my TV. So all the video I downoad to my PC, I play on my TV. No need for burning or converting. Best approach I know.
