Miles had a drop of his own as well as one ball that was a bit high.

He also had two pretty bad drops against Kansas City that would've blown the game wide open.

He made up for it though.

He's catching heat for the fumble, but IMO that was a great play by a great defender. He turns and bang Woodson punches it out, I mean it's tuff to cover it any tighter when he's thinking turn n go.

He's caught like 9 passes for almost 200 yds the last two games. He made a nice grab for a TD (albeit menaingless) against GB and probably would have had another vs Philly if not for the blown non-PI call in the endzone.

We've got 7 games to go. I bet he hits 100 yds or more in 2 or 3 of them if he and Romo are both healthy.

oh YAY! and it will only have taken him 10 games to do it!

It doesnt matter if the guy gets 200 reception yards just to fumble the ball away and drop critical passes. Thats what you get with RW.

First we send like 5 picks for this guy, and yes i wanted to trade up and take him very badly in the 04 draft. We pay him tons of money and he had one real good season in Detroit.
Roy Williams has nothing to do with the idiotic amount we paid to acquire him. Roy can't help it if we have a freakish circus clown for a GM. It's not the fault of the object when someone overpays for it.

Now hes the joke of the nfl.
Dude, really, he's underperforming but he is hardly the joke of the NFL. He's not even the biggest joke on the Cowboys. Ahem, Barbara Carpenter, I am looking at you...

Seriously, this guy needs straight cut.
That's about as dumb a move as overpaying to acquire him.

Hes been with us 20 games and we still keep saying "its going to get better" but it never does. Im ready to give Ogletree and Austin the go, line RW up in the slot from time to time.

Which is why you're watching the game on TV, and not coaching the game for a living...

IOW, your football knowledge is dubious at best, nonexistent at worst... and it appears that you've infected your wife with the same case of football illiteracy...

You're nothing unique, just another fan who needs a designated scapegoat on whom to take out his frustrations...

He calls out Romo to the media and then has a game like he did Sunday? During the game my wife said "Number 11 sucks", she knows very little about the sport. Seriously, this guy needs straight cut.

idk what the hell game you were watching but he had 5 catches 100pluss yards and a td... so ..... *** you talking about????

Looked like he was holding the ball fairly casually to me. For someone with so few receptions, you'd think that he'd err on the side of caution.

When Roy showed up last year, I was pretty excited about the possibility of the "double threat" despite misgivings about the ridiculous price Jerry paid for him, but I remember the first red flag was his statement early on that it would take a half season or so (I think) to get on the same page with a new quarterback. Even if that is the truth, it seemed like a non-elite thing to say, and he's been a bust ever since.

He'd have to play at an extraordinary level for a number of years to justify his cost in terms of cap and trade value, but at this point, all I hope is that he can be a solid #2 or even #3 that Tony only spends a 3rd look on rather than wasting pocket time hoping that Roy will figure out how to get in the right place at the right time with actual defenders on the field opposing him. Last week he seemed to be getting the route thing down a little bit better which is encouraging, he just can't afford to forget the catch and hold part of it, while he's at it.

Sounds like an excuse to me. He got stripped while trying to make a move.

No way. Williams knew Woodson was there, and he was holding the ball away from his body slightly while he tried to make a move. Given how badly turnovers hurt us last year, we can't afford to have our skill players be careless with the football. Turnovers are the single biggest threat to our winning the division or getting a wildcard and there should be zero tolerance for avoidable mistakes.

I've defended the trade and still believe we need to make the best of it.

I will concede a thought that occurred to me as the Packers ran out the final 38 secs Sunday.

If Roy had pulled a hamstring in pregame warm-ups, we'd have won that game.

In 30 plus years following the team, I never had that feeling about any single player after a loss.

And I sincerely hope I never have it again.

Wait what? Okay I can agree that Roy could've played better. He had two horrible plays. Understandable. But i'm sorry but we lose that game with or without Roy. I don't see how you can say otherwise. Witten had a penalty that took away a Tashard Choice 20 yard run. Romo overthrew Bennett on a WIDE OPEN td. Nick Folk cost us 3 points. Romo overthrew Miles on a potential td. Miles had a drop. Feel how you want about Roy but the game I watched Sunday? I saw a team that constantly beat themselves. Packers also took a part in that beating as well. Had Roy made that catch? Who's to say we don't fumble or Romo doesn't throw a INT on that possession? I just don't get how anyone can watch that game and just come away with Roy was the only one who *** up.

That's the thing... Woodson doesn't really punch it out. He hits RW on the hand and dislodges it. I can see if he poked the ball out directly but he hits him on the hand to cause the fumble. That was a weak weak fumble by RW....
