Depends on whether he wants to work 18 hours a day as a coach or 18 hours a week as an announcer. With young kids, announcing is the way to go IMO.

I may be alone but I like Gruden quite a bit. He doesn't seem bias, he just loves everyone. Romo does have a lot of personality and knowledge in the booth though

Romo is easily better than Aikman and considering how early he is in his career...he could easily be the best.

Hopefully he switches to Fox or SNF though.

Uhhhh no. Any player can go out there and call plays before they happen if they experience in the league, especially at QB. Sitting in the comfort of a booth and calling out plays is not even close to actually coaching. He comes off as a pompous know it all and it will get old quickly. Great, you know plays before they happen. You were a QB for a over a decade in the NFL. I would hope you can read plays before they happen.

Good money in broadcasting, way less stress and time consumption. He stays a broadcaster, I'd bet.

I don't know..I guess it depends on how ambitious he is.

I'm guessing his salary rivals a head coach, we don't know but he has no pressure and long term job security if he's good.

This is why Gruden hasn't left...announcing is the best job, it feeds the fire without the pressure or weekly stress.
