Our running game is critical to winning this game, if we get on track and dominate the time of possession like the Seattle game, we have a great chance to win.

I agree I also know the defense will have to make some plays in this game, this has been their MO all year long and that can't change this weekend.

I don't know last 4 games GB barely escaped Alt, lost to Buffalo beat Tampa and Det. Respect GB if you want but fear them? No they are beatable

I think this game is basically between two evenly matched teams. I think Dallas would have the clear advantage if Murray was at 100 percent. Murray hasn't been quite the same since injuring his hand.

With all other things being equal, I think Dallas is a slightly better team than Green Bay overall. It bothers me that there is a vast amount of negative press coming out of the Detroit game because I don't want that being in the back of the officials' minds when they call this game. People are human, and I would hate for us to get the short end of the officiating stick due to an official thinking we backed into that game.

Green Bay is a media darling, much like the Patriots, Seattle and the Broncos. If we are going to win this game, we better not leave anything to chance, as I think we won't get the benefit of any close calls, even though most of the questionable calls/non-calls actually went against us in the Detroit game.

Another tidbit to remind ourselves:

You think our OL would like to prove a point next week after the 6 sack performance? I would bet that they are more than motivated to have a dominant game.

What worries me is Murray. He used to look like a 5 yard/carry back. Now he looks like a 3 yard/carry back.

It' partially his broken hand AND the workload is catching up to him. I also believe teams have figured out the Cowboys running game a bit as the season has progressed. Murray's average YPC tell the tale:

5.4 ypc -> September
4.9 ypc -> October
4.5 ypc -> November
4.0 ypc -> December
3.9 ypc -> January (So far)

I was referring to WR only.

I think Rogers makes his wide receivers better. He is so accurate and is really good at leading the receiver so that they never have to break their stride or adjust to the ball. Run after catch (I'm guessing) should be a big stat for GB.
