I agree and I'm banking on the two number one's next year to provide more than depth. Flo is probably done after this year, TO and Glenn are getting older. Next year we will have a shot at a top receiver or RB or OL. We're in good shape with personnel as of today.

I never said they were "blue chip" either. Are we reading the same thread? Or is there just alot more "assumption" occuring today than most.

There is a big misunderstand among casual fans that there were starters to be drafted in the 3rd round and beyond. That simply isn't true. After the top 18 or so the talent leveled off until pick65 to 70. After that......not much left. The guys we did draft after Spencer will make their impact in 2008.

I don't think Marten and Free are prospects. They could step in immediately and help out if needed. Both would be miles better than Petitti.

But yeah, they'll take a couple years to develop to their full potential, but most linemen do.

And I think Stanback can have an immediate impact on KR/PR.
