Not with Linehan calling plays or coaching him.
Jeez Ranch, now it’s Linehan? Ya think it may be Dez? Didn’t you see how his immature antics on the sidelines demoralized the team? You can make a high school player do what you want most of the time, but you can’t an NFL player if they don’t want to. He tried to rely on his natural ability and teams feared him like a 1 legged miniature weany dog.

I saw what you saw, but Irvin and Aikman used to do the same thing. Dez was pissed and no one would even try to approach him and coach him up. That's my biggest issue. He was scapegoated. I hope they were right. I still can't stand that SOB Garrett

The reason Dez is not on any NFL roster is because he has turned down at least 2 offers. You should just stick to asking why he isn’t with Dallas. He could have a job if he wanted to.

I'm not trying to get in any debate over Dez, but what offer besides the Ravens did he turn down? the Browns did not offer him a contract. They said they were in no hurry to make a decision on Dez. Am I missing something? If you ask me, Dez cut his own NFL throat when he started talking trash about wanting to play against the Cowboys and then spurning the Ravens offer. Baring a major WR injury this year, Dez may not play at all, unless it's in Canada...

I can't argue with you about Garrett, but some players are just not coachable...

It took them 7 or 8 years to figure that Dez was uncoachable?

Like you said, l don't think Garrett could handle Dez. That's probably why Witten tried to step in. Maybe Dez just needs the right coach. I just can't think of any off hand that would want to try.

If l were a coach, the first thing l'd ask myself is, why does this guy still not get it after 8 years? Most coaches are not going to want to take that task on...

They offered him just under $5 million and he turned it down. I am no Dez fan but he has offers and he has rejected them.
