Anybody who is calling Randy Gregory “dumb” clearly doesn’t know anything about Bi Polar disorder.

If you want the cowboys to cut him and move on I don’t blame you. It’s a reasonable position to take. He is definitely facing an uphill battle and odds are he will never be able to play in the nfl at a high level.

But to label the guy dumb, or an idiot, or anything else disparaging is pretty ignorant on the parts of many. Bi-polar disorder is a very serious medical condition that requires lifelong treatment for people to be able to cope with and overcome it. Having bipolar disorder is no joke and it’s also no damn picnic for the person suffering from it.

And if it is as serious as you say, he has no business playing football. Just stick to what he is doing. Football should be the last thing on his mind. I think it's clear he cannot handle the pressure and rigors of playing football. He couldn't handle it in Nebraska. He couldn't handle it in Dallas.

They say he has a job. Good for him. He should stick with that.

If I had a medical condition the last thing I want to hear from a medical professional is "I guess you'd better pray."

That last gal that I thought was "the one" was bipolar. And it's not pleasant in the day to day aspect of dealing with a person that can ' swing' in mood and character in the time span of a 20 min. foray to the supermart or similar separate time spans
( pretty sure she knew when they were taking place, but didn't like taking the prescribed 'meds',,,)

I fear his bi-polar issues may be a bigger problem than marijuana. He was thought to lack coping skills from his teenaged years and used marijuana instead of getting counseling.

We obviously did not do our homework..

we drafted and hoped the Cowboy culture would kick in.

Bi-polar is a underlying cause for him wanting to get high to escape the feelings that stuff brings.

I had a girlfriend who had it..

she was like Jackal and Hyde.

She would drink at lunch and when the day was over..

she would smoke pot.

She was also very physical and changed her mind constantly.

I had to leave the relationship before I went crazy myself.

Then I got crazy reprisals from her for leaving.

If Gregory is dealing with this stuff behind the scenes..

he doesn't need football where its pressure ridden.

He needs to get help and not more ridicule.

You do not start paying him 100's of 1000's of dollars in this condition.

He will just take a nosedive.

Apparently he is not fit to hold any other jobs than football.

As someone who has had bouts with clinical depression as an adult, I sympathize with anybody who is struggling with problems of their own, be it depression, bipolar, OCD, anxiety, etc

I sincerely hopes Randy gets his life together, even if he never plays again in the NFL. Some things in life are more important than sports or money or whatever.
