Sources: Giants trade DT Lawrence to Bengals for No. 10 pick

Trade up from 12 almost unlikely now,we are staying and picking.

And it’s likely one is Love and the others is a defender.

Also, the number #10 pick vs #42 (this years second to the Jets) and next years #20 (a fair estimate of the pick we will lose the Jets next year) are almost exactly the same value

So, from a trade perspective, we got Quennin for about the same value as NYG got Dexter.
Yes, 1 D player and 1 O player (could be Love but don’t see him getting by TN or WR still need one there).

Harbaugh will turn that franchise around. That’s a great move to create cap flexibility.

I may be in the minority, but as I have said many times before in other threads, this trade shouldn’t affect the Cowboys at all. The Cowboys should be trading down multiple times and adding top 75 picks. As many as they can.

Technically the Giants made out better then Dallas when we traded MP. Though we recieved 2 1st round picks. The Giants can easily trade down from 10 and get a another first next season.

For example, i believe Cle has #24. Trade #10 to Cle for #24 and a first next season.

We have the absolute worst GM in all of sports and if Jerry is not the worst, he's definitely in the top 10.

Picks
Mendoza
Reese
Bailey
Love
Styles
Tate
Bain
Delane
Mauigoa
Tyson
Lemon

I think Dallas will now have a top defender fall to them at 12. NY will definitely pick one offensive player.

In this scenario Downs or McCoy would drop to Dallas.
You don’t know that.

He’s the worst. At least give him credit for something.

This is bad for the Giants. Dexter Lawrence is the rarest of unicorns. A NT that can rush the passer.

This trade does remind me of how bad we got screwed by not trading Micah sooner. We could have possibly gotten a top 5 pick with a little foresight.

I’d say trading up now is more likely…
If Cleveland are willing to do the deal, then trading for their 6th is the one that makes sense… though Jerry better move quickly as I’d imagine other teams will enquire if they are willing.

I have to give credit to the Giants for the trade, now you see what a good coach can do? Try to make the team better which Harbaugh is doing, now Giants have flexibility with 2 picks in the top 10 which sucks

I now believe 2 WR and 2OL will go before 12,no need to trade up since one of BIG 6 will be available

If that big six includes Bain or McCoy rumor is we are out on those. I think now our best chance of getting a first rounded graded defensive player at 12 is probably Mansoor Delane and he has to get by 3 teams that might pick him.
