Right on.
I wasn't attempting to attack anyone. And I honestly don't know a whole lot about it. I've just seen some that truly identify as animals.
I learned all about anthropomorphism when I was studying in college to write fiction (ended up in marketing and journalism). I just had no idea anthropomorphism was being taken to these levels with a new trend until this year.
I know you said you weren't offended, and I truly hope you weren't, because I was not thinking when I wrote that. But you can see why people think it's a bit weird, yeah? I mean, there've been those kinds of mascot outfits for forever. It's just that only recently, I think, significant groups of people began identifying as a furries.
Or am I wrong?
Mostly, it's a generational thing, right?
As in, not many gen Xers like myself are furries.
Anyway, always enjoyed your posts and I know you're younger than many of us on the board. So just remember that. Most of us are out-of-touch old farts anyway.
Speaking only for myself, of course.
