Where's the rebuttal over the fact slap you just received?
The fact that defense ranked 17th and the offense ranked 31st?

I forgot Brock Osweiler was a top 5 pick, oh wait.
Seriously people, no one is suggesting we shouldn't hedge ourselves against another Tony Romo injury, but you don't do it with the 4th overall pick.
Do you expect Romo to play 16 games? I don't. Due to his age and injury history, we need to draft his replacement and begin grooming him immediately.
Wentz wont be any better than Weeden year 1. Picking Wentz tells me we have no shot at a super bowl. Lie to yourselves if you want to.
And picking a defensive player at #4 would?
There is no Miller in this draft. There's no Suh, Dareus, Peterson, prospect in this draft either.
If there was, then maybe. And you aren't just hedging against injury, you're providing depth at a position on an offense that was literally the worst scoring offense in the league without its #1 QB. 32 out of 32. You're also putting talent in a position to succeed in the hardest position to fill in professional sports.
That's not even addressing the fact that you're actually adding real talent at a position where the future of the franchise hinges in just a few years.
You know the draft sucks when there's legitimate debate about a chase and cover LB who played about 2 seasons of college ball being BPA at the 4th pick.
I so would sell that pick and shoot for 2 1st rounders and keep the high 2nd.
And there is no Andrew Luck either. You know the QB class is weak when a kid from NDSU is now being considered the best QB in this draft class. (I like Wentz btw)
If you're going to argue your point, please make sure your own logic doesn't fly in the face of what you're trying to say.
Not me. If I have even the slightest belief that either of the available quarterbacks can be my franchise guy for the future, I take him.
Just can't get them otherwise.
Does small school status also disqualify Super Bowl winners like Roethlesberger and Flacco?
Fair...and I respect that source of directions.
Does small school status also disqualify Super Bowl winners like Roethlesberger and Flacco?
Let me ask you this.
Knowing what we know now...
If Andrew Luck is available and so is Luke Kuechly with our pick and Romo is the vet coming off injury would you pick Kuechly or Luck?
Forgive me if I don't see the logic in weakening the chances of a known commodity in Tony Romo, by drafting an unknown commodity in hopes that we will at least be mediocre when Romo retires.
.
That has nothing to do with anything. None of these QB's are really considered elite prospects, so how can he argue for drafting one of them because he believes there aren't any elite players at other positions to be had. It's ridiculous to claim that we wont have the chance to get an elite player at #4 outside of the QB's that, wait a minute, aren't considered elite themselves. I'm sorry the more I think about it the more infuriating it .
I forgive you. FINALLY, someone gets it. Drafting a QB #4 would be a dumb move.
So, if you're contending that nobody is elite, then they're all on equal 'non elite' footing. In which case, you take the quarterback anyway.
The fact is that if they're even was an Andrew Luck in this draft, we wouldn't have a chance at him at #4 anyway.
Lets work on basic reading comprehension before we tackle the more advanced concepts such as, oh I don't know, making sense?
And picking a defensive player at #4 would?
It would help, yes.
