IRVING, Texas – My gosh, is it really here, the NFL Draft, just a measly six days away, waiting around for this three-day event starting Thursday evening worse than goose-necking down the tracks for the next train to arrive.

Seems like we’ve been waiting on this forever, the anticipation building way back at 10:24 p.m., Dec. 29th, the minute after the Cowboys dropped the final game of the schedule, 24-22, to the Philadelphia Eagles, finishing 8-8 for the third consecutive season, failing to clinch the NFC East title in the last game for the third consecutive year and missing out on the playoffs for the fourth consecutive time – their longest postseason absence since failing to qualify five straight years from 1986-1990.

Odell Beckham Jr WR LSU, Must be a consideration and they are floating it out to the cowboy masses to prepare them in case it happens, cause the company man has spoken his spiel.

Not that I would mind him but just saying if Mickey starts it, chances are he was directly or indirectly pushed to write about it for one reason or another...who knows maybe in a ploy to get other teams to trade up in fear that Dallas is going to take him.

If he is the BPA on there board and they can't trade back for good value, I'm fine with it. OBJ is a very good WR.

His reasons to not take O-line were completely asinine to put it kindly. I really pray that he does not have inside info. I don't mind Odell Beckham at all, but it needs to be because he is rated higher than the O-line and Linebacker positions.

Obvious that Mickey started with the player he wanted, and constructed his 'argument' to fit his agenda after the fact. Though I am OK with OBJ, his reasoning was extremely weak and unconvincing.

Agreed.
