This article really opened my eyes about the Rams playoff game. Unlike others here who call that game a blow out, I felt like we were in it to the end. If our defense could have made that stop at the end, I fully believe Dak would have led the Cowboys back to tie the game and go into OT.

But Spags is right about the penalties. What is worse in the NFL than a back-breaking phantom call against the defense on 3rd down that extends a drive? IMHO referees should swallow their whistle there unless it’s something flagrant. That call changed the entire game.

Yes, that "sack" was one of the most rediculous calls in all of sports.
They should've given the sack to Collins on the stat sheet... smh.

Great. I had forgotten how those two inexplicably bad calls, which had nothing close to equal in the Cowboy’s favor, completely changed the game.

The sack was laughably bad. And just another time some weird unheard of play adversely affected the Cowboys.

I am a bit partial to Mickey only because he goes way back with the team...and at 1 time, he was a great writer and journalist. Over the last 10 years, he's been pretty vanilla..but I guess its all about job security for him..and eventual retirement.

this is weird..but whatever. I'm not going to dwell on nonsensical disagreements. I have an opinion that's different than yours, so you challenged me. Then I responded accordingly. That's the size of it. Move on.

You know, sometimes in these games what happens in the 26th minute or the 29th minute is just as important as what happened in the 59th minute to the Saints.

Mick makes some good points and provides good support for them. That is an eye opening article.
