It is a lot to ask for a young, raw player. Especially one who has a tendency to hold. Good luck with all those elite edge rushers.

to make matters worse, it is not like the rest of the line is above average. Obviously Martin is. The left guard would definitely be below average. Center would be lucky to be league average. And no more helping Steele at RT which you could do with a healthy Tyron. So we would be lucky to be league average there too. Just really difficult to think this team is a serious contender with the line they are putting out there.

Peters is done. I saw him in Philly.

If Broaddus thinks Peters has something left in the tank but a guy like Fisher is "done" then LOL.
He has a group of GMs he calls the gang of seven that he reaches out to and asks their opinions on players. The clip was about what they told him.

Nailed it. Our O line was a strength a few years ago. Now we are probably average at best overall. Lots of folks starting fir us would be backups for many teams. Is what it is. I see lots of running just to keep Daks body safe.

Let me guess amazing job by the front office to have the perfect player ready to step in and play. All good for now and the future is bright. If the article said anything other than that I will eat by shoe.

And man did #8 struggle.
Team was winless in all 11 games he started.
9 TDs, 18 INTs
52.9% completion pct
Yards per attempt 6.0
Yards per game 159.0
QB rating 55.7
To be fair - most of his teammates that season were just as bad.
and ours are NOT so maybe wont be so bad transition.

Spags is a front office mouthpiece. This article is basically the Jones boys signaling to us fans to get ready for Smith at LT.

They have to do this right now. If they have their eye on someone's roster, they can't tip their hand. Plus, they want to wait until the right time.

If they do anything at LT, it'll be very last minute. We'll probably start the Tampa game with who we have. Not sure we'll be getting our wish of a new tackle. But the Cowboys are in serious trouble if Tyler Smith get injured.
