Spag is pretty long winded

I look at last year as a serious success. In a year when they radically rebuilt the O, 6 new starters and publicly groomed the QBC to take over for his mentor the OC, and actually made the playoffs and beat a decent SEA team they'd lost to early in the season.

The SEA games are a good example of how much the team gelled during the season,
Dak's QBR for the 2 games tells the story on O,
game 3 - 17.1 (5 ugly sacks)
playoffs - 72.5 (1 sack)
much room left for improvement

Along the way a young D started to gel. Actually the first decent Cowboy D this century.

Didn't lose many talents in the off season, added some.

that don't mean the challenges of this camp are minor - there's much to fix

was last year prelude to better or something the fail to build on?
I don't know - the talent is there but can they gel? probably

but here's the deal - did they really fix what needs fixing the most, the run defense?
did you notice what Petersen, Barkley, and Mack did to our run D? or the Rams 270y?

for all our whining about play calling and scheme, QB, HC ... this game is won in the trenches,
Hill and Covington are here for a reason

IMO, this season may come down to our DTs ability to dominate inside.

If the DT rotation can more hold their own - a top 5 D can takes this team all the way
