From what I have seen in this forum, many people are highly critical of Mickey and his reporting. I just lost a lot of respect for the guy because he begins his show with music by Winger...:banghead:
Mods, please move thread if not in appropriate place...Winger, give me a break...

I like mickey.

Also, Miles away sung acoustically by kip winger is a great tune!

Mick writes with a chip on his shoulder.

His columns are full of "I told you so," and "Look, I try to tell you guys" etc.

He comes across as a condescending little jerk that has been kicked around his whole life.

He's OK on TV and he seems OK in person.

Something just comes over him when he sits down to write.

yea I dont really like HIm either...

I remember when He blindly supported Bledsoe and talked down romos Potential since game one.

But After 3-4 games He started jumping on the wagon and everybody forgot...Well I didnt, His little I told you so comments are beyond annoying.

Kip Winger?

I'm sorry, but you just lost a lot of credibility on this board. :laugh2:

Winger! Give me a break... Metallica, yes...The Crue, yes...Winger! Hell no...oh wait, here we go...

I saw sparks fly, from the corner of my eye
And when I turned, it was love at first sight
I said please excuse me, I didn't catch your name
Oh it'd be a shame not to see you again
And just when I thought she was comin' to my door
She whispered sweet and brought me to the floor, she said
I'm only seventeen, but I'll show you love like you've never seen
She's only seventeen, daddy says she's too young, but she's old enough for me
Come to my place, we can talk it over, oh everything going down in your head
She said take it easy, I need some time, time to work it out, to make you mine
And just when I thought she was comin' to my door
She whispered sweet and brought me to the floor, she said
I'm only seventeen, you ain't seen love, ain't seen nothing like me
She's only seventeen, seventeen
(Solo)
Such a bad girl, loves to work me overtime
Feels good (ha), dancin' close to the borderline
She's a magic mountain, she's a leather glove
Oh she's my soul, it must be love
She's only seventeen, still she gives me love, like I've never seen
She's only seventeen, daddy says she's too young, but she's old enough for me
She's everything I need, daddy says she's too young
But she's old enough, old enough for me

Way to go Mickey, you're pretty cool... Where's Hos?

Hmm Winger with Rod Morgenstein one of the best drummers around, see The Dixie Dregs for his "cred" and I think you could pick a worse band to rag on, just because Beavis and Butthead did not like them does not mean you need to be a lemming. Reb Beach the guitarist is also highly regarded, so get past the Colgate commercial singer and actually listen to "Headed for a Heartbreak"

I don't even know how to respond to this... I am not (was not) a fan of Beavis and Butthead...I have always been a fan of the hard stuff and not the glitz, but I respect your love for...Winger...

heh, I respect the musicianship of the players, much moreso than frikkin Motley Crue, fan of the hard stuff...what is hard about Motley Crue? If you want hard from that era go with Scatterbrain, Badlands, etc...Motley was just another hair band

Hair bands just didn't go over with me. I was a Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth guy. Of course a little Beastie Boys and the local favor Pantera was wholesome goodness.

Dave Mustaine's voice is too annoying.

In the 80's ... Fates Warning, Helloween, and Metallica

In the 90's ... Blind Guardian, In Flames, and Dark Tranquillity

In the 00's ... I'm clueless

I was selective with him. When they had something good, it was pretty good. They had a lot of garbage too. I used to eat, breath, and sleep Metallica from around 84' till the mid 90s. (Black and almost anything prior, was complete gold) Load and after had a few good songs. St. Anger was ****.
