I dont "hate" the punting decision, I hate the fact they showed no inclination to go for it by using a hard count. And I personally would have gone for it.

I can understand a punt from our own 42, but not from our opponents. But to be honest, I wasn't upset. I wasn't upset because after watching that pathetic performance I knew it didn't matter in regards to the season overall. Had it been 2014 or 2016 and we did that, I would have flipped out on that TV! Or even any of our 8-8 seasons where I still had hope.

Your post perfectly sums up Jerry's biggest fear - apathy and irrelevance and we are speeding towards both.

Lee second option would have been to let Maher try a 60 yarder. Distance is no problem, but accuracy from there would have been iffy.

The echo chamber has never been worse when it comes to Jerry, Garrett, Dak, and Linehan. Nary a negative word is said.

You're right, is Dak leaves, they start to trash him then. That's the pattern.
