Did he ever have a rep of being a good line coach? I am more and more of the opinion that we have the talent on the line to be better then the level of play has shown. I am thinking we need to look real hard at the O line coach.

I was screaming loud about this last year...

But what the heck do I know???

The OL was completely atrocious last year and what does Dallas do about it?

They give the guy a promotion and do nothing to upgrade the talent in FA or the draft.

Except for a journeyman guard on his 3rd team in 3 years, a tackle on his last legs, and 2 draft picks in the 7th round... one is inactive, the other on IR.

I gave the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt and thought, hey they must know something I don't.

But in all truth and honesty, the OL still sucks!!!

What's it going to be then, eh?

Tony Sparano was a dismal flop in Cleveland as an offensive line coach in 2000 under Chris Palmer.

He redeemed his standing with a respectable job as a TE coach in Washington, Jacksonville and here.

He is on pace to be a dismal flop here as well.

He is probably much like Dave Campo: likeable, tries very hard, his players like him and he is loyal.

But hopelessly overwhelmed with the technical aspects and the "little things".
