Spartacus : Gods of the Arena

The new spartacus season kicks off tonight.

Well it is only 6 episodes from what I gather. Something they did when the actor playing Spartacus got cancer and was going through treatment. They have replaced him with another actor and are going to make another season of shows that start off where the other one left off.

This 6 episode season goes back before Spartacus showed up.

It will concentrate on the first champion for the house of batiatus. It will also have Crixus, Barca and Ashur.

Cool, I loved this series. I hope the new actor can pull it off. The other one was great.

I started watching a couple months ago. I was pissed when I found out it wasn't on anymore. Then I felt bad when I found out why. I'm glad they are going to give it another shot.

I really wish I could find that review that called it "Spurticus" it was hilarious. But it disapeared a day or so afterwards. Probably ticked someone off and it got pulled.

But that series was well done.

I'm also catching up on back episodes of Entourage---funny stuff.

It's gonna be tough to replace Andy Whitfield. He carried that show. You could basically just watch him act and forget about everything else.

Whitfield was great, no doubt.

John Hannah was an outstanding actor in that series too...but I think he got killed at the end of the last series. Hannah is reat in everything I've ever seen him in.

I guess if the new series pre-dates the older one, then maybe they won't have a problem.

Hannah and Lawless will be back for the 6 episode series as the Husband and Wife running the gladiator school.

He did a very good job in the series. Was used to him being more of a bumbling comedy type character from the Mummy Movies so this was a change, but he pulled it off without a problem.

Hannah and Lawless will be back for the 6 episode series as the Husband and Wife running the gladiator school.

He did a very good job in the series. Was used to him being more of a bumbling comedy type character from the Mummy Movies so this was a change, but he pulled it off without a problem.

Hannah has had some bad roles compared to his skills. I think his manager must talk him into some of this stuff.

Anyway, he was solid in some of his other movies...including "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and "Sliding Doors" .
