I love to grill too, but the obsession with grills in the south is over the top. Then again, thats probably why there are huge obesity problems in the south compared to the north too.

Ohhh yeaaaa, that, and probably because pizza, pasta and 5 pound corned beef or pastrami sandwiches are an INCREDIBLY healthy alternative.

Breaking in the new Weber. Nothing fancy, just burgers and hot dogs. Used the Hardwood charcoal for the first time. So far so good.

I have that same grill. My Mom bought it for me years ago.

I'm thinking of returning the favor and buying her one. One, a little bit nicer since she grills about 100x more than me.

This 1 looks like a pretty good deal for $375. As long as it's at least 3/16-1/4" thick steel, I'd be happy w/ that.

The 2nd 1 is a store bought, like a Chargrill. Those generally are really thin steal and don't hold up well. Plus the leak heat and smoke like I sieve.
