How big was the injury to Cundiff? Well, it cost us at least one and probably two games. Heck, we've only lost three altogether!!! I think for the rest of the season, in a couple games we would have lost with Cortez kicking FGs or Suisham kicking off, we now win those games. It was a pleasure to watch that 56-yarder go thru, and to see kickoffs sailing high and dropping inside the 10 yard line.
In the prediction thread i stated we would win in overtime vs. the Broncos, 27-24. We have our kicker back and he's playing very well and with confidence. That gives the coaches and players confidence also, if they can give that little extra to get in FG range to give us a chance to score. I know at least LA is happy Cortez is gone. All i'm saying is our chances of winning close games just went up, and there'll be a couple more close games this year, believe you me. Cundiff returning was the key to our playoff run and ultimately our playoff success...
