Niners activated Boone who has held out until yesterday. Between needing extra OL to deal with that and all the injuries and whatnot on defense they had to cut another top ST guy of theirs.

We have Spillman who was another cog in their ST. With the depleted ST experience and talent our guys could have a big advantage.
