did we use starters on STs a lot?

I thought we did a bit when JJ was the head coach.

My guess is that we continue to mix and match vs. Denver and the Texans, but eventually Wade has to make a decision whether the subs can get it done or if Wade has to put more starters in to cover kicks.

I really do believe that we have good depth on this team (SD game not withstanding), and guys like C Brown, Watkins, etc., etc. should be able to get the job done.

But it seems like Jerry's patience is already running thin. (For good reason.)

I think our ST played worse last night then any of us expected. Looks like a lot more time must be spent on ST during practice; some day these players or maybe it's the ST coach, need to figure out how to stay in their lanes so our opponents don't always start on their 40 yard line. Maybe nobody forgot to tell the ST coach that it would be better for the Cowboys if our opponents were forced to start within their own 20.
