Ready to just take the touchback

Ogletree isn't really doing much special back there, whenever he takes it out we're always at the 15 or worse. About time we just say, we'll take the touchback and let Romo play an 80 yard field.

I understand the value of a big play but Ogletree doesn't seem to be the guy to do it. Until we get someone with better return abilities and instincts......who doesn't trip over himself as soon as he catches the ball -- I think we should play it safe

Thoughts?

I think we should look at Lee Higgins and Figurs again, as well as any other return specialists still out there. Especially with Austin out for an extended period of time again, I don't feel comfortable with Ogletree even as a No. 3 receiver...

I'm not going to jump to conclusions about Otree bringing out deep kickoffs. For all we know, he's executing DeCamillis' orders. But his failure to tend to that live second-half kickoff in the end zone could've been a disaster. His work ethic has been questioned, his play is erratic and he might have a ten-cent head. Fine if Harris wasn't the guy to supplant him but we need to be looking to improve here. Johnnie Lee Higgins would be an instant upgrade at KR.
