Special Teams questions

I noticed that Chris Covington was active, but did not play. Why was he not on coverage teams? Seems like he would be an asset on special teams and it would be a good way to get him some game experience. I liked what I saw from him in the last preseason game - he just looked like a player to me.

Also, I thought teams usually put WR's on their "hands" team? I saw two TE's, a RB, a FB, and two LBers. I don't understand.

St’s looked better than I thought they would be.

Not sure about the hands teams, and the use of LB’s
Unless their role is for blocking, in case of a pooch kick.

I wouldn't even say the hands team is bad - it's just these damn TE's.

At this point, I would have scooped up Gavin Escobar if he was still available.

11 players on the field. They only have 5 or 6 WRs active...

How do you know Covington had zero ST snaps?
