It would make sense to trade Chris Simms to the Cowboys for Terry Glenn, according to the Tampa Tribune. The Buccaneers have expressed an interest in adding another veteran receiver.

Our View:Glenn hasn't caught a pass since 2006, and the Bucs have a plethora of wide outs, including Michael Clayton, Ike Hilliard, Antonio Bryant and rookie Dexter Jackson, making his fantasy value suspect.[/FONT]

I went over to the Tampa Tribune website and couldn't find the article. Pure speculation, but I can see it happening.

That speculation is wrong. Glenn has not caught a regular season pass since 2006, but he caught passes in the 2008 playoff game.

No one is trading for Glenn.

Can you imagine an offense with speedsters like Glenn and Galloway on the field at the same time. I wonder what that looks like.

Why would the Bucs do that? Do they know something about Glenns knee that the Cowboys don't?

so we're going to trade a starting vetran WR, that when healthy is one of the top route runners in the leauge, with great hands, and speed, for a backup QB?

Jerry would get assasinated if he did that.

why would Tampa our us do that? Mr. Jones wants some payback from the 5 million gone from last year.

That would be really smart for the Bucs to do. That way both Glenn AND Galloway will be injured and they will STILL not have a threat at WR.

It's not exactly a one-sided trade for the Bucs.

Its a bad move because...

Glenn MAY be able to help this team.

Simms would ride our bench and IF he played probably not much of an immediate ROI.

I do not see the benefit there. Sims was struggling even when he did play.

It's hard to throw from your back, however I do agree that he had issues with passes being tipped at the LOS.

I'd like to see him get at least a chance somewhere, preferably in Dallas.
