Fresh from the Ranch Report's Valley Ranch Insiders Board, Roy Philpott (editor of the Ranch Report Magazine) has stated that the one thing he knows for sure is that Henson is NOT the future QB of the Cowboys. Says Cowboys brass are now coming to terms with that realization, and says while he doesn't know the timing of his pending release/trade, he feels it will happen sooner than later.

I will beleive it when it happens, not before. BESIDES, keeping Henson right now allows an NFLE exemption, so he ain't going anywhere unless they get a good offer for him.

I'm fine with that BUT, I don't like that he hasn't been given the chance that Hutchinson got. He was decent in Europe. Hutch sucked over there too.

People read too much into Bill's comments about Henson's European performance.

I think it should be clear the Bill doesn't care about success in Europe. Henson won't prove anything to him by playing there. Henson needs to play well during TC and pre-season to make it matter with Bill.

Now Jerry is another story. I'd bet he is excited about Henson's play in Europe.

Honestly, I don't think Bill cares about the 3rd QB position that much anyway. If Romo looks like he can play in a pinch Bill will let Jerry have his way on this. This only is a problem if both stink in pre-season and we need to get a vet backup.

Honestly, he knows no more than any of us. He's got a nice site, but I've learned to discount any of his 'inside info'. Anways Henson was cut a couple weeks ago...oh, wait, nevermind.

One thing that has become obvious, is Henson won't be playing any regular season games while Parcells is here. Unless Bledsoe gets hurt, and Romo stinks it up badly.

I know Henson is the future QB of the Cowboys. After his stint in NFL Europe, Cowboys brass are coming to terms with that realization. While I don't know exactly when he will be named starter / take over due to injury, I feel it will happen sooner than later.

That will be 100 bucks, thank you. I realize that in that twisted pile of crap, I didn't actually say ANYTHING, but your money - is important to me.

Absolutely incorrect.

He broke a story last year about our trade of Sam Wilder to the Bucs for a conditional draft pick -- Turns out Wilder's dad emailed him to ask if he could change his subscription since his son was traded. That's inside baby.

He broke that a full 4 hours before it was reported.

If you don't want to pay $100 for that ....
