WOnder if Garrett might want to get him back, well if he is available that is? Just seeing on sidelines with Chiefs made me think of that.

He would make Cowboys worry free about Kickers, at least. Not sure if he is even in radar, but just throwing it out there (well if he becomes available that is).

Has Boniol's contract run out?

Apparently yes. Besides he was only contracted for the year pretty much. I am not sure Hoffman is even a possibility, but I am guessing he might be, if he was available. His track Record is proven with Dallas. Its the worst move ever made by Bill Parcells.

SO your going to fire Joe Decamillis for steve hoffman?

really?

Hoffman is overrated around here. He found some decent kickers but they rarely lasted over 1 season. Could he help? Yes. Is he worth the hype? No.

All Decamillis has done is have a building smack him on the head. Other than that Buehlers been great....

Hoffman only coached kickers and was an asset to have when needing a cheap kicker to bring in after the current model flamed out. Hoffman never coached the entire special teams unit as best as I can remember.

He is the chiefs special teams coach. So the only way he would come back here if for some reason we wanted him to or he wanted to would seemingly be to hire him as the special teams coach.

I am pretty sure he is not going to go back to being a kicking specialist after he worked his way up.

For a minute I was confused why you would say that. I didn't see that he is full tim ST coach for Chiefs. I thought he was assistant and someone else coaches ST.

Yep, I guess that option is out of question then.

I wasn't aware that he was the special teams coach for the Chiefs. I was under the impression that he was still a kicking specialist.

Hoffman was good at finding cheap kickers that were decent. That is pretty much the extent of his ability.

That souns 105x better than our recent kicking situation

no its not. Beuhler would have been about average with what he found.

You are a classless individual.

Exactly. If people actually look back at the stats during Hoffman's years here, they'd realize that on average, we didn't do any better than we did this year.

Considering that poster is a crude POS it seems like a normal post. He is a Philly fan how else would you expect him to act?
