If they go DT I expect it to be in the direction of bigger, not faster. I could be wrong, but my gut feeling is that we finally start carrying a real space eater under McCarthy/Quinn

Schwartz would never start or even get many plays though. We got Cooper, Lamb and Gallup. Next year we could lose Gallup but do we take a guy for next year when we need so much help on D?

He would be a 3rd round burner. He doesn't need to start.

You send him out there and tell him to either go deep or fake going deep and come underneath. Those two options and that one game breaking trait of speed and this offense suddenly takes on a whole new level of space and depth.

Next year we let Gallup walk and this kid immediately replaces Gallup's deep ball production. We get a 3rd round comp back for Gallup. Win win win.

I prefer a defender but I can get behind this for sure, it's good team building.
