There is none in this upcoming draft. The closest thing to a real burner is John Brown from Arizona, free agent.

I haven't really followed him too much but I thought Kirk was considered a fast WR?

I don't know a thing about the college boys...but the Cowboys need a burner THAT can catch the ball. No BS artists like Beckham...somebody humble that wants to win.

Probably doesn't exist. But let's hope.

There are several in the draft with very good speed.

Most top WRs are not burners per se (i.e. 4.3 forty types).

Don't believe the times listed for players at this time of year.

Butler failed.
He’s not optimal because he’s inconsistent on the catch. But he didn’t fail. He has speed and defenses have to respect that. That creates openings elsewhere. Football 101.

They basically quit using him before the injury.

He screwed up some routes in addition to the inconsistent catching.

They need a a speed guy that also has run after the catch ability. The Tyreek Hill type where he turns a Beasley type catch into a big play if the defense doesn't over-focus on him.

Hopefully that can be Switzer.

That would be nice. He does seems to have a little more deep speed and RAC ability than Beasley but I'm not certain how much more. He didn't look uber fast on those jet sweeps that gave him.

I've been surprised he didn't get a few more opportunities at WR but when Witten plays 100% of the snaps it limits the possibility of 4 WRs.

WR is a low priority for me.

We don't use them.

Our QB isn't great at throwing the ball to WR's and our offensive scheme does our WR's no favors either.

So I don't mind getting a WR but don't use high picks or spend big money because we will never get our moneys worth. Especially without Romo.

Nothing against Dak but he is good in his own way and it doesn't involved making plays with his WR's.

Dallas needs to commit their resources on offense to O Line and Tight End. That is where we will get our moneys worth.

They are, unless you want them to spend more there?

Smiths cap # is 17.5m next year, Frederick is 13.25m, Martin is 9.3m(barring a new deal), Collins is 5.8m
45.85 million as of right now to those 4, not factoring in any contract for Cooper/new LG.
You can restructure Smith again, but then you got to pay that at some point later on when Dak/EE are due/have bigger contracts.

Draft another or spend on a backup tackle.

Just don't commit to another WR we barely use and let defenses take away.
