Spencer no corroborating info?

Has anyone heard/read anything today regarding spencer? All I see is a tweet from Watkins saying that Garrett will not rule him out. I have not seen anything else pertaining to or corroborating the new swelling story. In fact, that tweet from NFLN yesterday was to the effect that Spencer had a setback during rehab but did not state WHEN it occurred and whether it has resolved. Just looking for info....

I don't see how Spencer can play if he has not had physical contact since July. He might suit up but if he does play, I think it will be in an emergency situation.

I'm only going off the fact that the media only sees the first 20 mins of each practice. So while I agree it's a stretch to think so if he indeed hasn't practiced this whole time, I just find there to be a bit of an oversell in the questioning of whether he's going to play or not.

Does this sound like normal player speak to you?

It sounds like a player who's heart sez yes, mind sez yes, but body sez no. I don't see how he can start but if his replacements stink it up the coaching staff may be forced to try him as a last resort.
