Did Spencer not get credited for the sack on the two-point conversion try?

No because it was a two-point conversion attempt... Those stats aren't kept, just like if someone would have recorded an INT.

He also took out Jacobs and Eli too.

The guy is gonna be a stud. I thought he played very well for his 1st game.

I heard Burnett is going to play a lot this week too so watch out.

Spencer needs to be ready this year to contribute early and often.

Him and Ware should make great bookends. Now if we can get Burnett and Carpenter to contribute positively, we have great athleticism at LBer. I dont trust our DL to do much, sans Ratliff. We are going to need all the help we can get from our LB core.

Someone was calling him Anthony " Hitman" Spencer the other day.

It has a nice ring to it, don't you think.

With a nickname like "Hitman" and If he brings back the frohawk... "I pity the fool " that steps on the field against "The Hitman", sucka!

I don't get the logic behind that.

HAHA... he didnt take out Jacobs... Jacobs stepped under a falling Spencer and hurt his leg(knee).... Spencer looked like he was getting OWNED on that play too..

How would it be scored statistically if the interception(or fumble recover) were returned for a score? The play is still active until the player is downed, isn't it?

I thought about it. I agreed with you at first.

The TD has been scored already. So 6 should not be on the table(at risk) and it isnt.

You cant get a crack at 1 or 2 points by running it back either because you dont have the TD.

you cant score (defensively) in the NFL off extra point attempts, 1 or 2pt conversions

Spencer was getting held on the play Jacobs got hurt. Spencer did a good job getting penetration, was held, and went down. He had really nothing to do with the injury, but he was doing a good job on that play.

They called a holding penalty on that play, they said it was #76 (Snee) but he didn't block anyone on that play. They meant to call it on #67 (McKenzie) but I guess the refs mixed'em up. Spencer was definately held.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire..."The Hitman"
