Why ,Oh ,Why don't we try and get a first class kicker in this organization???

Dallas said:I think I read Parcells thought Hoffman was a buffer (coddling kickers) between the coach (him) and the kickers. He didnt like that so he let him go. I think Parcells handles the kickers along w/ Dehaven? May be wrong but I think thats how its panned out.
I dont know. I think Dallas was the only team who employed a full time kicking coach. The other teams dont do this nor have they done this in the past. I can see Parcells approach and rational for getting rid of him. Its not like Steve made kickers great the past few years. We have not had a solid clutch kicker here since Eddie? I cant remember.RCowboyFan said:Well, thats why I am questioning the move. Ok, he removed the buffer, but what did it do really? Have kickers been better? So far I don't see that at all.
Sure McBriar has been good, but he was good last year too, as he got better as the year went last year. I just think Parcells didn't make a good decision on that one, but then I dont all the inner workings, so maybe in the long run this will work out for better. I just don't see the immediat benifits.
