Split Training Camp was a dumb idea...

It seems to me like this team wasted their training camp with having to deal with splitting time. It was a novel idea but in hindsight it sure looks like it hurt our team. Constantly making negative plays and mental errors, they look like they are still playing in the preseason.

This team is like that pretty girl that will never give you the time of day. She will smile at you, wink at you, but she will never go out with you.

I know we have a long season ahead of us but this team loves to back itself against the wall before it starts to do something about it. Is it too much to ask to come out firing on all cylinders from the get go?

You can question just about anything right now.

It's sad it's come to this in only week 2.

I guess the players having to load the UHauls and driving across country tired them out.

Well when you have statisical evidence that says only 13% of teams that start out 0-2 make the postseason it is a valid thought. Teams like the Chargers and Colts are the ones that can put it together after a rough start, and we definitely do not belong in the same category as those teams.

To be fair, until they did it they weren't in that category either.

Depends on how you look at it. Artificial turf takes a toll on the players legs during the rigors of camp. Getting some time on natural grass out in Oxnard could be seen as a plus. Just another perspective.
