Been here a couple of days... leave Thursday...

Anything I need to see, places I need to eat? My hotel is right on the falls and I have been running every night along the river... cool stuff...

Beautiful city...

I've lived in Washington for a year and a half now and I've still never been to Spokane. I tend to stay over here on the west side. :D

Drive to Coeur d'Alene! It is not that far from where you are. The lake is incredible!

I love Spokane, but all my memories of it are 25+ years old, and are from the perspective of a little kid... riding the Carrousel in the park is one of my favorite memories.

I don't even know if a lot of the things I used to love to do there even exist anymore, but I do know that is still around:

If you're near the River Park and can snap a picture of it, I'd love it if you'd post it.

I'd agree that Coeur d'Alene is a beautiful place to visit. There are a number of lakes in that region that are very nice as well, but going up to Idaho there is definitely a great short trip.

My whole family is from the eastern part of Oregon and Washington, and my grandparents lived in Spokane, so I would visit it a few times a year for my whole youth.

There's an old Catholic cemetery in town that is a historic landmark, and it was founded by my great grandmother, and was dedicated by my dad back in the days when he was a Catholic priest.

Man, so many great memories of Spokane. I'm glad you got to enjoy the little city for a few days.
