Anyone think his Miami position had anything to do with the OL lack of focus and not being ready for the blitzing in the second half? Just asking.

No the oline was not firing off the line in the 2nd half. The media talked about how Saparno was all over them about sitting there waiting for the contact.

This was on the players all the way around we need some more nastiness on the oline. Me need an Eric Williams or Kevin Gogan type attitude mixed in

The OL dominated the game for 3+ quarters, so they must have came into it focused. I mean ... I don't know if I've ever heard of a 20 play drive .. that's just ridiculous. The players collapsed when it mattered most ... like they've been doing under several different coaches.

Which just adds to another reason not to resign Flo besides age and cost

I think Andre's snaps being slow and erratic got our line's timing all out of whack. Our guys were either moving early or not moving quick enough and it seemed like the snaps had something to do with it to me.

definitely. good post.

Yeah, it's amazing how normally a defense would be worn out after a manhandling 10 minute, 20 play drive, have a runner go for over a hundred yards in the first half, and how a line can play great for 3+ quarters and then all of a sudden just forget how to play.

Unless you believe in tanking games.

You know, I was always a lukewarm fan of Sporano. Honestly! Out OL blew under Parcells and Sporano, and only got better when Colombo and Davis were slotted in (meaning the play upgraded when the talent upgraded; it was not due to coaching). Honestly, I'd like to see Sporano leave, especially if the rumors that Hudson Hauke will return are true. Then we'll finally have a real OL coach to take this unit to the next level.

I certainly didn't understand what he was bent out of shape about. is he going to redefine how pass blocking is done in the league? He wants linemen to go attack the linebackers like they are run blocking on a pass play?

Seemed to me like he was putting on a show and trying to find something to scream about, they blitzed more guys than we had to pickup. He should have been screaming about the fact that they were letting guys right up the middle in Romo's face.

This is a problem we've had with every NFC East opponent since the second Philadelphia game and it hasn't been fixed yet.
