Jonas Mouton, viewed by many scouts as one of the draft's most underrated linebackers, had a good all-around workout after stumbling a bit in the 40-yard dash (the high 4.8-second range). Mouton moved around well in positional drills, looking smooth and fluid with the quickness one would expect from a defender who has potential 4.7 speed. Despite the disappointing 40 that might cause him to slip down to the late third or early fourth round, most in attendance came away feeling that Mouton showed the tools to be a good NFL starter.
On the other side of the ball, TE Martell Webb did the impressing. Webb, who caught only five passes in '10, weighed in at 276 pounds and looked well built at that size, even though that was about 10 pounds heavier than his playing weight last season. He showed fine all-around athleticism and ran good routes for such a big man. He caught the ball well, according to sources, and looked natural in doing so.
