Did anyone else see this?

I know the kid came out of nowhere and is considered a work-out warrior, but it is a damn good thing I am not a GM; after seeing him on Sports Science I would take this kid in a heartbeat. The explosion and athletic ability he possesses are incomparable. I might even move him to DE if I was coaching.

It will be interesting to see what happens if we dont move up or down and Campbell is there at 59. I dont love the guy, but at that point in the draft he might be worth the risk, especially if Houck believes he can get alot out of him. He could probably serve as the swing tackle on game days as a rookie, and maybe they could move Brewster inside to guard.

I did see it and it was impressive.

He stopped the force of a Mini Cooper going 5mph and took one tiny step backwards...

If he is there at 59 and Allen and Burnett are gone, I really don't see how a better player could be available. Sit him behind Free and Columbo for a year and plug him in at either tackle next year. He has the feet to play left and the power to play right. I am officially on board.

I would take him, Mays, Allen, Burnett, or Ducasse at 59 and be giddy. It is worth the roll of the dice.

If Houck gives the thumbs up (and he obviously would have at least some input) then I'm ok with him at that point of the draft.

:hammer: no way at 27, but 59 is a good spot.

And the knock on this guy is that he's stupid? Bull-crap... The NFL is not rocket science. I'm sure dude is smart enough to know not to let his man get behind him. Sometimes, these "draft experts" go to far in trying evaluate folks.

1 thing I think I think is he isn't nearly as bad as everyone has said he is.

I think he has just caught a lot of flac for the productivity he showed in College and that warranting a 1st round pick.

Bruce Campbell would be a sweet pick in the 2nd round. If Jerry has faith he can be coached up then its a no brainer.

Theyll make the right decision. I trust them.

I never thought he was a 1st rounder, but I would pull the trigger with our 2nd depending on who is left on the board. Heck, with his athletic ability and basketball background, he could probably be a blocking TE.

Like they said. You don't draft blocking TEs in the second around. He would have to be more than that.

You don't go to Maryland as a dummy. ACC schools have high academic standards.

That's awesome how he can stop a mini Cooper. Now if he could stop ACC defensive linemen he would have been a Top 10 pick.

I'd take him if we Allen, Saffold, and Brown were gone and we were sure that we could get Burnett later on.

I don't want him.

We need someone who would be ready to step in day one is an injury were to occur or something along those lines. He has the strength and measurables of a Top 5 pick, but he never played like a Round 1-3 player. I want someone who tape matches his strength. If Free went down, I'd feel more comfortable with Saffold as our LT then Campbell. Saffold is still my pick in Round 2
