Let's have a poll on who is America's Sports Website :)

Hint..CBS Sportsline message board poll = who cares? It just means that the Green Bay fans aren't smart enough to go past C in the alphabet to get to ESPN's boards :)

32% Packers
15% Cowboys
15% Colts

I think players such as Brett Farve and Peyton Manning are the reasons behind the Packers & Colts numbers moreso than them truly being America's team.

It's a totally unscientific poll, so who cares? If they have to try and steal it from us then it's obvious who is really America's Team.

I love how teams want to steal that nickname.

Seems like TV ratings and merchandise sales would provide a better answer (than a poll).

Exactly and correct me if I am wrong the nickname was coined by the guy from NFL Films because of TV ratings. Cowboy ratings were always higher than any other team. Thus came the saying when in doubt show the Cowboys.

Teams/Players/sports writers have been trying to take that name from us for years now.... it's sad really. I reminds of back when ProWrestling was big you'd see little kids walking around saying things like "I'm "Stone Cold" Jeffery Matthews"

The Packers? Really? Where was all this Packer love from 1968-1993/4? Were they the top story in sports news even when the team stank? That's what I thought. Nobody compares to the Dallas Cowboys in name recognition. No one.
