washingtons most important element is greg robinson, without him that team would easily be 0-4, he is that defense, he should be a head coach not a defensive cordinator, hes an amazing cordinator, probably best in league, Commanders are lucky to have him.

I like the ESPN rankings better. Dallas is a middle of the pack team until they put 2 wins in a row together. If this was next week and we had beaten, hopefully dominated, the Giants, then I think a rank of 7th or 8th would be reasonable. Dallas' wins are impressive but they need to follow them up.

the Commanders are doing much better than expected, but I don't see how you can dominate in almost every area of a game, yet still lose, not only that, but get an extra chance, or 2, to try and win it, the Broncos aren't that good, we passed our greatest test so far, and handily, they haven't, we should be ranked above them, or maybe they're factoring that win against us?
.....See Dallas vs. Washington and it will be abundantly clear how you can dominate and still lose the game.....It's the nfl.....on any given Sunday... :D

Well, that's exactly what happened to us when we played the Commanders. We dominated them completely for 56 minutes then allowed them to beat us in the last 4 minutes of the game because we didn't put enough points on the board to keep them down. Playing "not to lose" cost us that game.

Play to win Bill, play to win.

Gosselin wrote an article not long ago about good NFC teams getting stomped when they play in Kansas City (such as Atlanta losing 56-10 last year). It almost happened to the Eagles. I'd love to see it happen to the Skins.

You and me both!

The interesting thing is Washington lost a close game at Denver, while KC got pummeled by the Broncos. I hope that give the Commanders a false sense of security and the Chiefs rip 'em a new one Sunday afternoon.

Living here in VA (without DirectTV :( ) I'll have the Washington - KC game this week instead of NYG-Dallas. I hope to see a good Chiefs romp while also having Dallas whip the Gints.
