The 6’5, 294-pound Heyward has been an absolute beast during his career with the Buckeyes. He was a starter on defense all four years at Ohio State, which included four BCS Bowl appearances. Heyward shows tremendous character and leadership qualities which were evident by his desire to stay in school and win a championship rather than enter the NFL Draft after his junior season.
Cameron has the ability to play every position on the defensive line, something he did frequently at Ohio State. His size will make an excellent fit for any hybrid defense at the next level, as he can play in either a 3-4 or 4-3 scheme. In addition, he is also a very physical player who can press the inside edges very well and even shift back into space and catch up with the ball-carrier.
