Agents will do that but with QBs. Other positions it would throw the salary cap out of whack.

So, if I'm doing my math correctly, that would be $142 million out of a projected $280 million cap (51%) on three players. That's a lovely plan.

What the Eagles do is pretty much the same as what Dallas does, only the Eagles do it up front. The Eagles consciously moved $418 million into voidable years, $178 million of which hits in 2029. I am curious to see how Howie Roseman deals with this, or does he move on to another team before the bomb goes off?

The one difference is, the Cowboys can restructure or no restructure, or they can decide how much to restructure based on current circumstances. The Eagles are locked into their option bonuses. If the player is on the roster the Eagles are obligated to pay out the bonuses and in the amount specified in the contract. It would be like maximizing every restructure. Like I said, I am curious to see how they deal with this over the next 5 years.

Football must be passing me by because I don't see how either Parsons or Chase is worth $43 million. The idea that the CAP went up 8.6% so the contracts of these players would increase by 23% is absurd. Justin Jefferson got $35 million last year. How is Chase worth $8 million more than that just because the CAP increased by $26 million. $8 million is almost 1/3 of the increase. That's for one player!

The same goes for Parsons. I do not see how he is worth $40 million. These contracts are getting out of hand. They are increasing faster than the CAP is increasing. If this does not stop soon it is eventually going to blow up. $43 million is $2.5 million per game!

I saw that too. He alluded to the “bill comes due”. Essentially indicating they won’t be able to sign all their own FAs, so won’t be as aggressive this off season as last year.

Parsons and Lamb wouldn't look so bad if Dak were doing his job in the playoffs.

1 sack in 4 playoff games (and we know he ain’t stopping the run) while his defense gave up 6 TDs in the first 7 possessions vs GB. A MP defense capable of forcing 0 punts vs good offenses as we’ve seen too many times.

Dorance had 3 sacks, including a sack fumble just this year in playoffs.
