Well I am a homer but this album is fantastic.

Particularly Livin' in the future, it is pure springsteen greatness..

I just love this album. Livin in the future has a darlington county/tenth avenue/marys place feel to it..its fun.

Last to die, long walk home and magic are fabulous.

This is the first day in the 4+years I have lived here I wish I didnt. I think I would trade my season tickets for the opportunity to go see him in cleveland, connecticut, buffalo and albany like last time!!

He is playing albany on my birthday, I never miss him in albany. I am bumming. This album is going to be super live, I have seen the set lists they used at rehearsals and this tour will kick butt.

oh and the pictures in the sleeve of the cd case look like shots of him from the darkness album.

So I am curious for anyone else's review of the whole album. Not that I gave a detailed review!!!

The boss is back...Crank up the band...

I haven't heard much of the new album (only parts of the single), but I will say it's nice to see him come out with a real rockin' album again after Devils/Dust and Seeger sessions.

To be clear, I'm not a Springsteen fanatic, but I just happened to catch him on The Today Show last Friday. It was a great performance by the whole E Street Band.

He played about 4-5 songs that were "slotted" in their 8:00-9:00 hour, and apparently entertained the PACKED crowd on the street during commercials before and after their scheduled live spots.

Twice, they called him out for encores, and NBC hung right with it to their credit.

Even my 72 year old mom, who happened to be over, was rocking out to The Boss! :laugh2:

he has that effect on people. I took my mom with us to see him in december of 02 in albany, she loved it. I think she might get tickets and go with one of my cousins to see him again this november in albany.

I wouldn't walk across the street to see Bruce Springsteen.

Not a big fan of his either. But if he is still out there making music that people love, more power to him.

Just picked up the album, and it is fantastic. Best album since The Rising and it may be better
