I was checking out the Ventura newspaper for any tidbits they could provide on the Cowboys presence in nearby Oxnard. Below gem was included in their newspaper article discussing the signing of Felix Jones & Mike Jenkins & it means RWilliams weight loss.

Anyway, here's what they wrote:

Williams looking fit: Roy Williams, the player whom Parcells once described as "a biscuit short of a linebacker," looks thinner than those who attended the last Oxnard camp in 2006 might remember him. After reportedly losing more than 20 pounds prior to last season, he is now listed at the at 221, close to his playing weight coming out of college.
Williams, who signed a four-year, $25.2 million extension during that camp, has come under increasing scrutiny for shaky pass-coverage skills and frequently being caught out of position.

Here's what he looks like now.

For the last time. it is what it is folks.Roy williams is not going to get any better. sometime you have got to admit you made a mistake and move on. nothing will change the fact that this guy is a terrible football player.

What is it going to take for you people to face up to the fact that this guy cant play anymore? we can not go into this season hoping this guy can be a player again. he is what his play over the past few years says he is.and his play flatout sucks. get mad at me all you want. but this guy is flatout terrible.

Hmmm....perhaps a few hundred more of your super-insightful posts would help.?

...on second thought, nah, they wouldn't.

Yeah because no player in the history of any sport was once good...then sucked it up...and managed to turn their career around and be good again.

A non Zone Supporter with a low post count tells us our player sucks...

Looks bad for you buddy.

You've been sniffed out like a pound of crack in a carry-on.

One the one hand, I hope the smaller Roy is more effective. On the other hand, if being too heavy made him less effective then why the hell wasn't he asked to lose weight earlier?

Roy isn't what he was coming out of college and clearly didn't deserve to get invited to the Pro Bowl. But he is not nearly as bad as you make him out to be. If he were, the Cowboys would cut him.

Your extreme opinion of him isn't anywhere close the truth. So there is no need for you to continue to run into the ground needlessly.
