Dez Bryant had a chance to catch a ball that would keep a drive going in the third quarter. But he dropped it.
And like two weeks ago in Kansas City, he said he took his eye off the ball trying to make sure he stayed in bounds.
“That’s all it was about,” he said. “Just trying to see where I was at on the field. I kind of lost my eye on the ball, trying to keep my feet in bounds.”
Bryant spoke quietly at his locker after the game, but with a determined, sometimes emotional, tone.
“Got to keep grinding. Got to keep working,” he said, asked what it will take to get the Cowboys out of the win-one-lose-one mode. “To me, it’s all about mental. It don’t matter how fast you are, how strong you are, it’s all about who wants it more. That’s what we’re going to keep working on, and I do believe we want it more. We just got to go out there and show it.”
