Stephen Jones said the Cowboys will look at everything to figure out their problem with hamstring injuries, including strength and conditioning coach Mike Woicik.
“You always evaluate everything,” the Cowboys’ executive vice president said Monday during his radio appearance on KRLD 105.3 FM “The Fan,” asked to evaluate the job Woicik is doing. “You look at everything when things aren’t going right. The fact that we have had injuries for two years, you have to take a look at everything. Mike Woicik’s one of the best in the business. Probably arguably, I don’t know this for a fact, I think he’s got more Super Bowl rings probably than any strength and conditioning coach in the NFL between the three that he got with us and the three that he got with New England. He’s been around a lot of successful organizations. I think his success speaks for itself.”
The Cowboys suffered two more hamstring injuries Sunday, to linebackers Sean Lee and Justin Durant, against New Orleans.
“You have to look at everything at the end of the day,” Jones said. “We’ll certainly do it again.”
