News: ST: Dak Prescott hopes Tony Romo gets a laugh out of his 2012 tweet criticizing the Cowboys QB

There are plenty of people here who did the same or posted worse and now see what Romo means to this team.

That Washington game he was commenting on was probably the lowpoint in my Romo fandom. That game was just a disaster.

Haslett just had a way of making us look silly on offense. He couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper sack against the rest of the league, but against us? It just seemed like we had no clue what to do.

If Romo was overly concerned about all the criticism he has taken during his career, he couldn't possibly sustain being the QB he is. Dak made a careless comment long ago after a poor performance by Romo that I'm sure he now regrets. Romo has demonstrated many times that he's surely man enough to not sweat the little stuff and do all that he can to help Dak maximize his talents. I do believe Tony's a team guy first and foremost. He's already proven as much far too many times to think otherwise.

He's going to let Romo bring it up? Yeah, he might be waiting awhile, I'm sure Romo has better things to do with his time. Guess what, Dak? Romo doesn't care about your stupid little tweets.

This guy is already starting to annoy me.

He just reacted to a question. It wasn't like he is making a huge deal out of it. Wait until he actually does something before you starting hating on him ;-)

Dak needs to focus on the concept of taking a snap from under better and the forward pass.

He's has ten marathons to go before he's close to ready for the NFL.

Dak has learned what it is like to be criticized. He didn't have that experience when he tweeted that.

By now, Romo has 6 inch think skin. This was a long time ago and basically nothing compared to what he's heard.
Since then he has led the entire league in 4th quarter comeback wins (or better said, QBing a team to 4th quarter wins)....all while leaving body parts on the field.
I think he's more than made up for a few putrid games.

I say Dak has an opportunity to learn from his own Tweet. Fans tend to go from one extreme to the other based on what a player has "done me me lately" performances. Romo would be the first to tell you that he's 10x the quarterback now than he was his rookie season. Most have doubted him, but he has used that negative energy as motivation to become a top 10, if not top 5 QB in football. Likewise, there are a lot of folks doubting Prescott will ever become anything other than a decent back-up at best. Hopefully, he can see the similarity and prove everybody that he is fully capable of leading the Boy's if Romo misses games and/or in the future.
