DeMarco Murray doesn't seem to hold any special feelings for his record-setting 253-yard game against the Rams as a rookie.
"It was a good game. It was a good game," Murray said Friday. "I just remember offensively we were clicking that day, and offensively we had a great day that day."
Murray has had only three 100-yard games since, including only one in the past 16 games he has played. He appeared frustrated after the loss to the Chiefs last week when he had 12 carries for 25 yards as the Cowboys rushed for only 37 yards on 16 carries as a team.
But he insists he isn't frustrated.
"I’m not frustrated," Murray said. "We’re first in our division right now. We’re doing fine. We just have to continue to get better, but I’m definitely not frustrated."
Murray said he isn't giving his critics his time. The Cowboys running game has been a hot topic this week as Dallas continues to struggle running the ball a year after they had the worst rushing offense in team history for a 16-game season.
"I don’t hear if it’s positive. I don’t hear if it’s negative," Murray said. "I’m not worried about it. As a team, we know we have to do better. We’re working hard to get these things done, and we’re going to make it happen."
Murray has 1,671 yards and six rushing touchdowns on 357 attempts in this three-year career.
