Defensive end DeMarcus Ware returned from a three-game absence and registered a sack in the second quarter. It was only Ware’s fifth sack of the season, his first since Week 3 against the Rams when he had two.
His five sacks tie Ware for 27th in the league. Indianapolis' Robert Mathis leads with 13.5.
Ware missed the previous three games with a quadriceps injury.
He briefly left Sunday’s game after the sack, missing two plays before re-entering. Ware ended up playing 51 of 83 plays against the Saints.
