Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant returned to practice Friday after sitting out Thursday with a back injury.
Though he practiced on a limited basis, Bryant declared himself ready to go for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Bryant acknowledged heading into the game with a little added motivation after learning the quarterback Tony Romo underwent back surgery Friday morning and is out for the season.
“I feel for him," Bryant said. "I hope he has a speedy recovery, which I know he is. And we’re going to try to get this W for him.”
The Cowboys were already preparing to play start backup Kyle Orton against the Eagles. But Bryant admitted he was holding hope that Romo might play on Sunday. He said the team must rally together and leave it all out there on the field.
“Coach Garrett’s rule is the next man in has to step up and do the job," Bryant said. "What we do is we’re going to rally behind Kyle. We’re going to do what we need to do to get this victory. Everybody else has to step their game up just a little bit more and put it all out on the line. We got to go out there and fight. We’ve prepared great. We’re comfortable with what we have. We’re going to go out there and try to win.”
